Unique Amber Handle in the Kitchen – A Celebration of Detail

At Migaloo Home, we believe that the power of design lies in the detail. That’s why we proudly present a furniture handle made of PLASTRYKO and amber – a unique element created in the spirit of less waste, merging technology with nature.

This is not just another kitchen accessory. It is a one-of-a-kind handle, designed specifically to open the refrigerator – deliberately highlighted and treated as the central feature of the entire arrangement. Today, it forms part of a private home in Juszkowo, designed by falaarchitektura. This remarkable house, built into a riverside slope along the Radunia, opens up to light, nature, and daily contact with its surroundings.

The concept of the pattern and composition was developed by falaarchitektura, a studio known for creating sensory architecture. The material was produced by Migaloo Home, then precisely milled at kbcut.pl, giving it its final form and distinctive texture. The project was photographed by Hanna Połczyńska (kronikistudio), whose subtle frames perfectly capture the sensitivity of the detail and its interplay with light.

The handle responds to daylight – its structure and tones shift depending on the time of day. Most importantly, it has been installed and is used daily by the residents of Juszkowo. This makes it not only a manifesto of aesthetics but also a fully functional, everyday element.

This project demonstrates that ecology, design, and applied art can meet at one point. PLASTRYKO with amber transforms waste into a high-value decorative detail that actively works within the interior.
