Custom panel design for LPP.S.A.

Together with the showcase design department for REserved, we undertook the design of a zero waste showcase for the winter edition of the store located under the cathedral in the center of Milan. It was a very unique project that allowed us to consume more than 300 kg of old chewing gum packaging for production. It was a defective production batch that was no longer recyclable, the color of the plastic was translucent, so it was possible to achieve an ice effect using the appropriate dyes. In addition, the designer of the site, Berkano, took advantage of the fact that the board could be illuminated and its surface, not being uniform and uniformly thickened with plastic, could produce extremely organic transparency effects. This procedure made it possible to create downright magical ice pylons – on which stood mannequins proudly displaying the winter collection. The trend of using waste materials to arrange display cases is currently the most fashionable direction of upcycling in the world. In this way, by ennobling trash to the showcase area, we show that they are just as important as the valuable merchandise we have on offer.
