NØD table in Venice

Rosane Orlandi is a renowned interior designer and art curator from Italy who has gained international recognition for her innovative approach to design. As part of the RoGuiltless Plastic competition, Rosane Orlandi serves as an ambassador, supporting the initiative to promote the conscious use of plastic. Her commitment and creativity are an inspiration to the contest participants, encouraging them to seek aesthetic and ecological solutions. Thanks to her support, the contest has a chance to reach a wider audience and get more people actively involved in the fight against excessive plastic consumption. The competition is the most important event in Europe related to innovative approaches to zero waste design.

In 2023, Migaloo home received a nomination in the technology category for its NØD material table, made from walnut shells. The final gala and exhibition was held in Milan during Salone del Mobile. The international jury, after seeing the Migaloo home table, decided to move this item from the Technology category, to the Art category. Thus, our table was included in the main exhibition of the competition. There were 350 entries from all over the world, so we are even more proud of this nomination. The exhibition at the famous gallery was visited by tens of thousands of people during Milan design week alone.
